Mirabilandia Divertical, l'inaugurazione, le foto e la recensione

Il Watercoaster più alto del mondo, Divertical, è stato inaugurato ieri a Mirabilandia. Più che il più alto si dovrebbe parlare del Water Coaster più controverso del mondo.
In questi mesi, infatti, abbiamo letto tanto, abbiamo discusso ancora di più. Ma vedere un video, guardare una foto, cercare di misurare la velocità, immaginare le sensazioni e dare giudizi ancora prima di provarla, un'attrazione, è abbastanza fuorviante.

Alle 11.30 di ieri siamo stati invitati ad assistere alla cerimonia di inaugurazione presentata dai beniamini di Scuola di Polizia. Abbiamo assistito, in una caldissima mattinata, ai balletti del corpo di danza di Mirabilandia, alle performance di un gruppo di ragazzi che praticano il Parkour e all'esibizione del campione in carica di Italia's Got Talent.

Dopo il taglio del nastro da parte del direttore del parco divertimenti abbiamo potuto assistere al primo giro ufficiale sull'attrazione. Dopo la salita sull'ormai famoso ascensore stile "Pulgrim Plunge" la prima imbarcazione viene fermata per permettere lo spettacolo pirotecnico; un blocco tecnico di circa 5 minuti non permette l'immediato lancio verso la discesa, ma la situazione viene risolta tempestivamente.
Il giro viene completato e Divertical può essere finalmente "data in pasto" agli ospiti.

E' difficile poter dare un'opinione oggettiva di Divertical, può piacere e non piacere, nella recensione che segue cercherò di dare il mio giudizio.
Il sistema di caricamento è molto affascinante, sicuramente d'impatto la salita, e la vista dal punto più alto del Water Coaster. La discesa è buona, ma dopo la partenza, quando la barca acquista la giusta velocità, si viene frenati dall'acqua... e la parte migliore del coaster è finita.
E poi? Si risale, il camelback è preso troppo lentamente, la prima curva avrebbe le caratteristiche per poter essere divertente, ma ancora una volta la lentezza dell'imbarcazione sfuma questa potenzialità. Seconda curva e ultima discesa, infine lo splash che è veramente bagnato (al pari o addirittura di più di Niagara).

Quasi totalmente assente la tematizzazione, l'area ha necessariamente bisogno di essere ultimata.

Conclusione: Divertical è un'attrazione divertente, con un target decisamente familiare, con grosse potenzialità che probabilmente potevano essere meglio sviluppate, ma l'attrazione sicuramente piacerà al grande pubblico.

Soddisfatti sono stati i visitatori che hanno potuto provarla ieri, nonostante l'attrazione abbia subito delle chiusure temporanee durante l'intera giornata, e sia stata definitivamente chiusa verso le 21.00 di ieri sera.

Come si dice in questi casi "ai posteri l'ardua sentenza".

Yesterday we were in Mirabilandia for Divertical's Opening Ceremony. Divertical is the tallest water coaster in the world (Intamin). You can found here some pics, video about the first test pre-opening and the video about the inaugural ceremony.
The water coaster is family oriented, the layout is not so thrill, but the loading system and drop are fun.

The possibility Mirabilandia has given to its fans has been very much appreciated: a special interface gave the possibility to choose colours and graphics which allow “to dress” one of the DIVERTICAL boats. Among the over 3.000 projects received, the most beautiful and original (up to 3), will be realized and the winners will be invited at the opening of DIVERTICAL as guests of honour, expected for next June.
